Rewari : On Wednesday, Baba Balaknath, the legislator from Tizara, Rajasthan, met with Rewari’s Deputy Commissioner, Abhishek Meena, to discuss the growing issue of contaminated water in the Bhiwadi and Dharuhera areas. The meeting was a critical step towards finding a long-term solution to the water pollution problem affecting residents in these regions.
Multi-Departmental Consultation Held to Tackle Water Pollution:
The meeting was attended by senior officials from various departments, including HSVP, Pollution Control Board, Public Health Engineering, Irrigation, and HSIIDC. These departments are critical to formulating a comprehensive strategy to resolve the water contamination issue. The consultation aimed to align efforts across agencies to provide clean and safe drinking water to the affected populations.
Collaboration Between Rajasthan and Haryana Authorities for Sustainable Solutions:
Baba Balaknath emphasized the importance of cooperation between Rajasthan and Haryana authorities in tackling the water crisis. Both states face similar challenges, and it was agreed that collaborative efforts would lead to more effective and sustainable solutions. The focus was on upgrading infrastructure, enforcing pollution control measures, and improving water treatment facilities in the affected areas.
