                                                  You may have known….

Female and male relationships: Two thousand years ago, the position of women in the Hindu society was described as, “a woman should never be independent. Her father has authority over her in youth, and in old age her son has authority over her”. However, in post-independence India, there has been some change in the status of women, but mainly among the wealthier women who have had opportunities for education and employment. The older societal male dominated views regarding women still largely prevail in rural areas.

In Christianity also Females got equal status with Males in the early 20th century, yet in Muslim  society, Females arestill treated as a commodity, subjugated to the whims and fantasies of their Male family member.
