Himachal News: ED Raids 10 Locations, Including Baddi, in Bank Fraud Case
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has raided 10 locations, including Baddi in Himachal Pradesh, in connection with a bank fraud case. The accused, including directors Sunil and Suman Guglani, of the Googleani group companies, Super Multicolor Printers Pvt Ltd and In Foods Pvt Ltd, are accused of defrauding banks such as PNB, Canara Bank, SBI, ICICI, and Central Bank of India, causing a loss of ₹179.28 crore.
The companies involved, engaged in offset printing and computer stationery, are said to have used fake documents to secure loans. The ED’s investigation led to searches at various locations, including Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, Amritsar, Delhi, and Ahmedabad. During the raids, new bank accounts were discovered, and ₹3 lakh in cash, incriminating documents, and digital evidence were seized.
