The Youth Services Department of Punjab organized a 7-day camp at Parul University, Vadodara

Group was lead by budding artist Tilak Raj accompanied by Bicky Khairpur from Ropar

Vodadara/Chandigarh: Under  Youth Exchange Program young people from various institutions, youth clubs, and educational institutions across Punjab participated in Gujarat, especially at Vadodara. The participants showcased Punjabi culture through performances like Giddha, Bhangra, Malwai Giddha, folk dances, and folk songs. Workshops on music and Garba were also organized, allowing participants to learn something new. Giving a complete information about this camp Deputy Director Youth service Punjab Kulwinder Singh told during the camp. Students visited various historical and religious sites in Gujarat, gaining insights into the culture of Gujarat. A music workshop was also conducted with the support of Gurpreet Singh, from the Music Department at DIET Fatehgarh Sahib and  Abhishek  from the Music Department at Parul University. The participants were taught various aspects of music, and they exchanged cultural knowledge through folk songs from their respective regions. It was a delightful experience. In a Garba workshop organized by the university’s dance department, participants had the opportunity to learn the traditional Gujarati folk dance, Garba, which was a new experience for them. Special thanks were extended to performers  Lomesh  and  Daniel  for providing the opportunity to watch a play performed by theater department students. Kulwinder Singh,  Deputy Director (Youth Services Department, Punjab), . Davinder Singh Lote, and  Karanvir Singh, along with the faculty and students of Parul University, were thanked for their efforts in successfully organizing and conducting the program.Special gratitude was extended to the esteemed Madam Parul  (Director of Parul University) and  Nitin Mengi, Head of the Performing Arts Department, for honoring the students with certificates. The program concluded, leaving behind indelible memories and a lifelong enriching experience.In this camp 7 youth from mohali district participated under a group leader Tilak raj and and many participants from Ropar Distt under group leader Bicky Khairpur.
