Yamunanagar: A devastating road accident in Yamunanagar, Haryana, has claimed the lives of an uncle and his nephew after their scooter was struck by a speeding car. The police have arrived at the scene and are currently investigating the incident.
Accident Details:
Sanny Kumar, a resident of village Dusani, reported the incident to the police. He was returning home from Yamunanagar around 2:30 AM when he noticed an Activa scooter ahead of him, carrying two young men. As he traveled along the Panchkula-Kalanour National Highway, near his village, a car approached at high speed and collided with the Activa.
Immediate Aftermath:
The impact caused both riders on the scooter to fall and sustain severe injuries. Witnesses reported that the driver of the car fled the scene immediately after the collision, leaving the victims on the road. Emergency services were called, but unfortunately, the injuries sustained by the uncle and nephew proved fatal.
Police Response:
Upon receiving the report, local police arrived promptly to secure the scene and collect evidence. They have since registered a case against the unidentified car driver.
