Forensic team investigates as police continue to search for suspects
Ludhiana: The investigation into the firing incident involving former Congress MLA Sanjay Talwada’s car has hit a dead end, with no leads emerging even after 72 hours. A special forensic team arrived from Chandigarh on Wednesday to assist in the investigation, examining the crime scene and the vehicle involved.
Incident Overview:
The incident occurred when Sanjay Talwada’s car was parked outside his residence in the South City area of Ludhiana on Friday night. It was only on Sunday that the driver noticed the rear window had been shattered. Upon further inspection, Talwada found a spent shell casing on the back seat, identified as a .315 bore bullet, raising concerns about the serious nature of the incident.
Police Response:
After the discovery, the driver promptly notified Talwada, who then reported the matter to the police. Law enforcement officials have since collected footage from nearby CCTV cameras in an effort to identify the shooter and piece together the sequence of events leading up to the incident.

The forensic team conducted a thorough examination of both the vehicle and the crime scene to gather any additional evidence that could help identify the perpetrator.
