Jassa of Jassa Burj Gang nabbed with accomplices during a joint police operation

Chandigarh (Punjab): In a significant crackdown on organized crime, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) and Bathinda police successfully apprehended the notorious gangster Jaspreet Singh, also known as Jassa, along with three of his accomplices. This operation took place during a coordinated effort aimed at dismantling criminal networks in Punjab.

Gang Leader Apprehended
Jaspreet Singh, the kingpin of the Jassa Burj Gang, was arrested during a joint operation by the AGTF and Bathinda police. He is known for his involvement in serious criminal activities, including arms smuggling, extortion, and kidnapping.

Seizures Made
During the search operation, police recovered four pistols (32 bore) along with magazines and eleven live cartridges from the suspects. These weapons are believed to be linked to their criminal enterprises.
DGP Gaurav Yadav revealed that the arrested gang members have a long history of criminal activity, with multiple cases registered against them in Punjab. Jaspreet Singh alone has eleven prior FIRs, indicating his significant involvement in organized crime in the region.
