Olympics Gold Medal winner Oliver Zeidler visits his Club and gets rousing welcome
Frankfurt: Oliver Zeidler, the 28 year old German Rowing Scull Singles event Gold medalist at Paris Olympics 2024 visited his Club at Frankfurt on Thursday, August 15. He was welcomed at Geschaftelle Praventionsrat, Frankfurt a M, Club officials and fans on the occasion. He was also cheered by Mr. Arno Bortzler, a prominent Civil Corporation official at the Club premises.
Oliver was part of the German Olympics team in the swimming and boating events in Paris Olympics. He defeated a neutral competitorYauheni Zalaty from Belarus and Simon von Dorp, a Dutch athlete, in the finals.
“That is what I had to work for during the last three years with a lot of sweat and tears. It feels incredibly good to have the Gold medal in my hand here now,” said Zeidler to a major German broadcaster after winning the medal.
Germany has won 33 Medals at the recently concluded Paris Olympics 2024, comprising of 12 Golds, 13 Silvers and 8 Bronze pieces, and stood at No. 9 in the medals tally. (from NewsOnRadar.com Bureau, Frankfurt)
