1985 – Wimbledon Men’s Tennis: Boris Becker beats South African Kevin Curren 6-3, 6-7, 7-6, 6-4 to become the youngest man (17) to win a Wimbledon singles title (The youngest player to win at Wimbledon, male or female, is Martina Hingis, who achieved the record in 1997. She was 16 years, nine months, and five days old. She also holds the record for youngest junior Wimbledon champion, which she became when she was only 13) . 2023 – World’s first robot-human press conference takes place in Geneva, Switzerland with reporters asking “will you rebel against humans?”

1937 – Jagdish Prasad Goenka, industrialist.

1981 – MS Dhoni, most successful and popular wicketkeeper captain of India. He now heads Chennai Super KIngs in IPL. He won 133 matches out of 226 in IPL.
